Napoleon Hill, 1883 - 1970
Napoleon Hill was born in Virginia, USA, in 1883. He began his writing career as a “mountain reporter” for small town newspapers, but went on to spend “a fortune and the better part of a lifetime of effort” to produce his Law of Success philosophy and become one of the world's best known motivational authors. His book “Think and Grow Rich” has sold more than 60 million copies; it was followed by many lectures and other publications, including "PMA: A System of Self Management".
Hill passed away in November 1970 after a long and successful career writing, teaching, and lecturing about the principles of success.
